Robbie Carman is senior colorist and owner of DC Color, a postproduction boutique located in the Washington, DC area with a focus on broadcast television and independent film finishing. Robbie has 18 years of experience grading, including hundreds of programs for broadcast outlets like Discovery Networks, National Geographic, PBS, MSNBC, Smithsonian Channel and others.
Films Robbie has colored have screened and won awards at prestigious film festivals including Tribeca, Sundance, HotDocs, and SXSW. His work has contributed to the success of many non-profit and governmental organizations including The Pew Charitable Trusts, Conservation International, USAID, and The U.N.
In addition to his creative work, Robbie is a well-known and distinguished author and educator. He is the co-founder of the color correction focused subscription website mixinglight.com and has authored many courses on Lynda.com. He has co-authored 8 books focused on postproduction and been a technical editor for several other popular technical books.
As an Adobe Master Trainer For Premiere Pro and as an Apple Certified Instructor, Robbie speaks regularly at conferences such as NAB, IBC, Interbee, CabSat, Adobe Max, The Editors Retreat, The NY Post Production Conference, and GV Expo. Dan Moran is an in-demand and respected short form colorist and trusted collaborator of some of the world’s most exciting talent working on commercials, music videos and film projects.
He is a Co-founder of Mixing Light LLC and Senior Colorist at Coffee & TV. Over the last 10 years, Dan has graded numerous commercials which went on to win at the British Arrows, Cannes Lions and Kinsale Sharks.
He has also picked up a hoard of nominations for best color grading at the 2015 and 2016 Kinsale Sharks. His commercial project credits include: Versace, Ikea, Cadbury, Nike, Netflix, Selfridges and Baileys. Dan has also graded 2 UKMVA award-winning promos, and worked with a diverse list of music artists, such as Radiohead, Ellie Goulding, Zayn Malik, Tinie Tempah and many more.

Jeff I. Greenberg has nearly two decades of experience as a Post-Production consultant and Master Instructor (trainer for other trainers) for Adobe, Apple, and Avid, specializing in the areas of editorial, workflow, compositing, sound, color grading and compression.
Jeff is the owner of JGreenberg Consulting and for a decade was the Principal Instructor for Future Media Concepts. Consistently voted as one of the top seminar speakers/interviewers, audience’s feedback includes depth of subjects covered, approachability and student-centered teaching that helps keep them up to date on industry standards. Jeff teaches seminars at events such as NAB, IBC, CES and Inter BEE. He’s the chair for the Editors Retreat, an annually held exclusive getaway for editors.
Jeff is a published author of several books on the subject of editing and post-production. He recently finished a book on Adobe Premiere Pro Studio Techniques (Adobe Press). A 20+ year post veteran, his experience working at New York City post houses is delivered to low- and mid budget productions. He works on films, documentaries, television series, and corporate videos—and graded for directors Barry Levinson, Bruce Sinofsky, and Dorothy Lyman. Patrick founded the color grading website TaoOfColor.com, publishing a free industry newsletter, The Tao Colorist. In 2012 he cofounded MixingLight.com. Patrick is an adjunct professor at Hofstra University, teaching color correction. He contributed to the book Color Grading with Avid Media Composer and Symphony 6.
Anastasia was born in Italy where she worked for several years as a trailer editor. In New York City she discovered a newfound talent in finishing and digital intermediate color grading. Hired as an assistant at Company 3 she learnt invaluable skills from some of the best colorists in the world. Her work can be seen on Netflix and major TV networks such as the History Channel, A&E, CMT, Fyi, Viceland, Discovery and Food Network.
Colorist & Compositor
Daria Fissoun is a colorist and vfx compositor operating out of east London. Specialising in commercial video projects, her list of past clients includes Microsoft, Nike, Chevrolet and Konami. Additionally, she is involved with UKbased film production companies and has worked on a number of short films and features in the past 7 years, including the role of lead vfx compositor in collaboration with Prime Focus on Reg Traviss’ AntiSocial. Soon after entering the field of film post production, she also became involved in the educational sector. She currently instructs on a variety of post production topics, including compositing, motion graphic design, and color grading, as well as theoretical sessions on film and vfx history, cinematic analysis, workflow design and compression. She has been a member of staff or guest lecturer at film and media schools throughout London: SAE Institute London, MET Film School, Central Film School and London South Bank University. In her spare time, she records and uploads video tutorials on post production techniques in Davinci Resolve under her sole trader name ‘Goat’s Eye View’. In the two years since the channel’s launch, she has connected with thousands of fellow Resolve users and actively engaged in discussions about workflows and the finer details of the program. These user interactions and troubleshooting sessions helped her gain further insight into Resolve’s many capabilities and advanced functions. She is currently in the final stages of completing an advanced grading training manual for Blackmagic Design scheduled for release in early 2018.

Joey D’Anna, CSI is a colorist and online editor in the Washington DC area. He started his career in post-production over 15 years ago doing linear tape to tape online editing, and then continued into non-linear editing, creative finishing and color grading. Today, Joey color grades and finishes both short form broadcast marketing, and long form documentaries and independent films. As a lifelong resident of the DC area, he also grades a variety of political, non-profit and issue-advocacy pieces. Joey is a Blackmagic certified trainer for DaVinci Resolve, and a member of the Colorist Society International.

She is a professional video editor, audio artist and composer with over 25 years experience in video and film production. She has worked on wide range of productions from coast to coast including shorts, PSAs, trailers, music videos, documentary and independent features films. Having first started out as an online editor and motion graphics artist, Ryan’s journey into color correction and grading had always been led by an admiration for digital cinematography and computer science. He owns and operates a small color correction business, Huephoric, from out of Houston Texas. He has since adapted these skill-sets for two different work environments, and uses DaVinci Resolve both creatively in the color suite, and as a Digital Imaging Technician out on production within the Texas area.

Hector Berrebi is a Colorist, Post Production professional and Instructor based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Bob Kertesz is the founding partner in BlueScreen LLC, a company with many decades of experience in live compositing and on-set pre-viz using color screen technology and Ultimatte. Bob has been in the business for 45 years as a video engineer, systems engineer, video controller, tech supervisor, visual effects supervisor, and live compositor. Having bought his first Ultimatte in 1978, and deciding the technology was going to take off after using the system for just a few weeks, Bob now has literally thousands of projects behind him, from video games such as the Wing Commander and Dune series, to the Academy Awards, to live press junkets, sitcoms, and virtual studio work for FX and HBO, to the 2008 election night coverage for CNN New York, which featured ‘holographic’ guests in-studio from Chicago. Bob also developed the ‘virtual booth’ system for ESPN’s NFL and college football coverage and ran the system for them for two years on Monday Night NFL Football. Additionally, Bob has extensive experience in and is available for training studio personnel on the setup and use of the Ultimatte on-site in the working environment, and consults on studio and lighting design for getting the best results out of the system.

Noam Kroll is an award winning film director and entrepreneur based out of Los Angeles. He began his career as a freelance cinematographer and colorist, before launching Creative Rebellion – a boutique production company specializing in branded content and high end post, servicing a wide array of clients including Fortune 500 companies and international film studios. Shortly after founding his production company, Noam launched his personal filmmaking blog – www.NoamKroll.com – as a means to share educational and inspiring content derived from his hands on experiences as a director, DP, and colorist on narrative films. This initiative has since grown into a burgeoning resource for filmmakers across the globe, and is amongst the most frequented personal filmmaking websites of it’s kind. Damian Allen is well known in the visual effects industry as a leading technique and technology consultant. As president of Pixerati he provides creative consulting, pipeline & software development, and digital supervision & compositing for studios in Hollywood and abroad. Throughout over 20 years in the industry Damian has worked on everything from quick-turnaround broadcast projects to tentpole blockbusters. He is currently focused on the development of machine-learning and VR-based design tools for the creation of visual effects and animation.

A certified instructor for Adobe and Apple, Rich is a practiced expert in motion graphic design and digital video. Starting his career out in the world of broadcast journalism, Rich has always had great interest in visual communications. His producing skills were also recognized by AV Video Multimedia Producer Magazine who named him as one of the Top Producers of 2004.
Rich is a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals Instructor Dream Team, and a popular speaker on the digital video circuit. He has been the Program Manager for the Post|Production World Conference since 2003.
Rich is an internationally published author. His book, Photoshop for Video, was the first of its kind to focus on Photoshop’s application in the world of video. He is also a contributing author for From Still to Motion, Video Made on a Mac, Final Cut Pro On the Spot and Professional Web Video.
